Amateur Radio Simulation

Sample certificate composed in html and printed for distribution during the simulation.

I ran this simulation one weekend for troop 605. My goal was for the boy scouts to experience within a couple of hours the studying, licensing, operating, and achievement that is part of amateur radio.

I picked up a half-dozen cb walkie-talkies from a close out at Radio Shack. They would have a range just out of voice through the woods.

I hoped the scouts could understand the need for practice when maintaining order on a shared channel and relaying messages in an orderly way.

I prepared a number of resources on the web and then printed these in bulk so that they could be available in camp. website
