Hangman

Hangman Display from Scan of Photograph

Bill Croft wrote a terminal program for the Imlac PDS-1 that included graphic commands.

I wrote a hangman game in Procsy macros and embedded prints of enough graphic code to hang the man one limb at a time.

I vaguely remember writing a Fortran program to generate the title and picture then chopping apart the encoded strings for inclusion in the Procsy macros. Fortran could not be run interactively at this time.

Bill had calls that could print text using Imlac calligraphic fonts coded as display subroutines. These didn't scale so they were only used for the smaller letters.
