All I remember about this calculator is that it was cheaper than my roommate's HP-65 and that my device melted when some sort of internal short emptied the battery.
The clerk at the university bookstore asked me how long I left the melted device on charge. It wasn't on charge, I explained. All of that heat came from the battery itself.
